Quality Blueberries

Fresh Blueberries are fast becoming one of the most popular summer treats of all time. In order to broaden the harvest window of the group, the first planting of Blueberries was established on Rosle in 2016. Blueberries are sweet, succulent, full of nutrients, and can be eaten freshly picked, as well as incorporated into a variety of recipes. Blueberries, with its significant health and detox benefits, are experiencing rapidly growing global demand. Studies have suggested that increasing consumption of Blueberries decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and overall mortality while promoting a healthy complexion and hair, increased energy, and overall lower weight.

Recent venturing into Blueberry production completes the picture.

Blueberry Production

Demand for Blueberries is outstripping supply on every continent as they are becoming more and more popular. This demand will require significantly greater supply in order to satisfy the bigger demand and growth markets, and will require innovation beyond the current supply chain. With a harvest season following the main Citrus season this addition compliments the existing activities on Rosle. The Blueberries are almost exclusively aimed at the export market, and in particular the EU and forms part of the United Export Blueberry program.
